Our Passion for Clarice Cliff
We’re Bryan and Jane Tismond — lifelong collectors with over 40 years of experience devoted to the vivid, imaginative world of Clarice Cliff pottery.
Our journey began with a fascination for her bold Art Deco designs, which quickly grew into a deep and enduring passion.
As proud members of the Clarice Cliff Collectors Club, we remain active in the community and regularly attend the Clarice Cliff Yorkshire Club meetings, held twice a year. Over the decades, our collection has become a celebration of artistry, history, and design.
Sharing Our Collection
For many years, we exhibited at some of the UK’s most respected antique fairs, including Loughborough Town Hall, Leeds Armouries, and Harrogate Showground. While we’ve since stepped back from the fair circuit, our dedication to sharing Clarice Cliff’s legacy continues.
In 2021, we were honoured to appear on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, where we showcased our cherished collection of Clarice Cliff cream jugs — a proud and memorable milestone.
Today, through Octavia Antiques, we remain committed to making Art Deco collectibles accessible, and to inspiring new generations of collectors who share our love for timeless design.
