A super Royal Doulton Nursery Rhyme Series plate SIMPLE SIMON MET A PIEMAN GOING TO THE FAIR. This series designed by William Savage Cooper (1865 – 1943) and was first introduced in 1903 and withdrawn by 1939. The plate is 8 inches across and is in good condition with NO chips or cracks, just a little wear to the wording in the centre of the plate.
